    Welcome Dinner (hosted by Jasper's Italian Restaurant) (TB)

    Introductory activities, team-building session, project preparations (TB, CP, SP)

    Introduction to the United Nations Day of Peace / Peacebuilding Session

Friday, September 9

    Kick-Off Breakfast, Mayoral Forum, and Peace Pledge presentation

    White House Decision Center simulation program at the

                                     Harry S. Truman Library & Museum (5th graders and older) (LT, CR, CP, TB, CE, CL)

    Visit to The Children’s Peace Pavilion and Peace-themed collaborative

                                  art project with Massa (4th graders and younger) (CR, CP, TB, CL, AA)

    Tour & Peace Pledge Presentation at the Harry S. Truman Library & Museum (TB, CE, CL, AA)
    Lunch & team-building activity (TB)
    Exclusive meet & greet with world-renowned organist Jan Kraybill followed by tour &
                                Peace Pledge performance at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts (CP, TB, CL, AA)

     Gallery Tour, Fair is Fair activity, video, & National Park Service Ranger-led discussion  at the Monroe School

Trip fees have been set as low as possible to allow as many children to participate as possible! Many children will be doing fundraising both with their chapters and on their own to cover the cost of the trip.
